Biography
Marcelo Pablo Pittari was born in 1970, Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1996 he began studying at the Municipal School of Design in Buenos Aires. In 2000 he moved to New York. Between the years of 2002 to 2005, he studied drawing and anatomy at the School of Visual Arts with Betty Tompkins, Andrew Gerndt and Steven Gaffney.
He continued his education in drawing and painting after 2005 with Andrew Reiss in Park Slope, Brooklyn and at The Art Students League of New York, working with Ephraim Rubenstein, Costa Vavagiakis, Frank Porcu and Michael Grimaldi. At the League he exhibited in student shows and was a recipient of Merit scholarships and awards.
